This project was designed to the corporate standard requirements for this frozen yogurt franchise. The interior tenant improvement turned out great and this client was great to work with. Among the challenges to this project were our attempt to utilize some existing elements remaining from a prior tenant. This enabled the project to better achieve their first cost goals while attaining a great looking interior finish and a really nice customer experience. Frozen yogurt stores, drink shops and similar projects have to go through the Clark County “Restaurant” Health Department review process. SSA helped the client on this project to submit and address health department concerns to attain their approval. We also provided a formal bidding process to allow the client to know that they got a fair price for construction. The interior finish selection came from the franchise vendor. SSA Architecture also provided the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing drawings and submitted to the building department to attain the necessary approvals for the contractor to “pull” the permits.
