Built in 2013. The poolside café was constructed inside and adjacent to the tropicana express casino in Laughlin. The proprietors have reported to us that (in their opinion) this is the most successful coffee shop in Laughlin. A great advantage for this project was its poolside location and access to the main traffic of the casino. The floor plan was constrained by two thick load bearing walls carrying the load of a multistory hotel wing above the restaurant. The interior design, done by SSA Architecture, included colorful glass tile, green ‘Quartsite’ counters and porcelain floor tile. The client wanted a beachy interior design look and plenty of customer options for impulse buying items. Whenever we are in Laughlin we always visit the place because it has such a great vibe!
